BRITISH NATIONAL CURRICULUM

Early Years

Children develop curiosity and confidence through purposeful, play-based learning in our island setting.

At ISPG, our Early Years programme combines the British curriculum framework with nature-based, play-led learning. Children learn through exploration, hands-on activities and guided play that builds communication, early literacy and numeracy, emotional regulation and physical skills.

Nursury

While play is central, children are encouraged to explore early literacy and numeracy, collaborate with peers, and express creativity. Daily routines promote independence, confidence, and a love for learning.

Reception

Reception at ISPG represents the final stage of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) under the British Curriculum. We balance structured learning with playful exploration to help children build readiness for Primary education.

Core skills in literacy, numeracy, and communication are introduced through meaningful, engaging activities while supporting emotional well-being and curiosity.
