BRITISH NATIONAL CURRICULUM

Key Stage

Children in our Key Stage programme are encouraged to ask questions, collaborate with peers and explore topics that interest them — all while developing the confidence and skills for lifelong learning.

Our Key Stage programme combines the British National Curriculum with nature-based, enquiry-led learning. Children deepen subject knowledge, develop critical thinking and grow as confident, curious learners.

We balance academic rigour with creativity and outdoor learning. Lessons are built around inquiry, collaboration and practical problem-solving so students learn how to think, not just what to remember.

Building independence, curiosity, and core skills
In Key Stage 1, our curriculum helps children transition smoothly into more structured learning while keeping engagement and creativity at the heart.

Students begin to develop stronger academic foundations, take more ownership of their learning, and connect knowledge across subjects. Lessons are designed to be interactive, inquiry-based, and relevant to real-life experiences.

Key Stage 2 (Years 4–6)

Deepening knowledge, critical thinking, and global awareness. In Key Stage 2, students expand upon the foundational skills developed in earlier years. Learning becomes more rigorous and comprehensive, encouraging students to think critically, work independently, and apply their knowledge to real-world contexts.

Our curriculum continues to foster independence, leadership, and a sense of responsibility within and beyond the classroom.
