APPLICATION FEE: THB 3,000 The application fee is a NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE payment that covers the cost of the student assessment and application procedure, payable upon submission of the application form. Payment of the application fee does not guarantee a place for the student.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: THB 75,000
A Security Deposit of THB 75,000 is payable by all new and returning students prior to admission.

This fee is payable upon confirmation of a place for your child, and prior to entry to the school
THB 150,000 is the maximum amount payable per family.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

There are 3 Levels of Extra Learning Support available at ISPG.

Level 1Offers extra support in class and is free of charge.
Level 2Offers extra support in small specialist groups THB 8,000 per month.
Level 3Offers individual one-to-one specialist support at THB 40,000 per month.

NOTES

1. Tuition Fees

  • Fees and figures are billed and payable in Thai Baht (THB).
  • All school fees are reviewed annually and subject to change without prior notice.
  • Tuition Fees include the student group accidental insurance (up to a cap of THB 20,000), books and equipment.
  • Tuition Fees include meals.
  • Tuition Fees exclude school uniform, school trips, extra-curricular activities, and school photographs.

2. Sibling Discounts

This applies to larger families within the same academic year as follows:

Remarks: The tuition fee discount will be applied to the siblings only and billed termly.

3. School Bus Service

  • One-way trips are calculated at 75% of the round-trip fee. 25% discount for 2nd and subsequent children.
  • The zonal system is based on the distance from the school.
  • The School Secretary will advise parents which zone is appropriate for them.
  • Cancellation of the service must be made half a term in advance and in writing to the school.
  • Cancellation refunds are calculated on a half-term basis only.
  • In view of uncertainty over fuel costs, transport charges may be adjusted term by term.
  • Zone 1: Ban Tai Municipality / Zone 2: Koh Phangan Municipality / Zone 3: Phet Phangan Municipality

4. Learning Support (LS)

If it is deemed necessary to support a student with additional learning needs/special educational needs, a child will be given trial days. If the school considers that a child requires SEN support, it will be discussed with parents and inclusion in the SEN programme is NOT optional.

5. Overdue Payment

  • Late payment charges of THB 150 per day will be applied to payments made after the invoice due date.
  • Method of Payment All fees and charges are billed and payable in Thai Baht. The school does not accept cash payments.
  • By cheque: be crossed and made payable to “บจก. พะงันเลิร์นนิง. (Phangan Learning Co., Ltd.” and the word “Or Bearer” crossed out. Should be submitted at the admission office.
  • An annual payment option is to use the instalment programme for Kbank or SCB, details available from the school cashier (The instalment programme can only be used for credit cards issued in Thailand).
  • By bank transfer: transfer directly to our accounts at any of the following banks.

6. Refund Policy

  • A student who wishes to officially withdraw from school requires a “Withdrawal Form” to be completed and submitted to the Admissions Office by hand or email ([email protected]). The date of submission will then be regarded as the “Notification Date”
  • The registration fee is a non-refundable deposit of THB 75,000, payable if notified one term in advance.
  • Advance tuition fee payment is NON-REFUNDABLE after the start of the term (except in an unforeseen event mandated by the Thai government).
  • All fees will not be refunded after the start of the term
  • Early withdrawals (termly payment only)

– Full refund of the termly tuition fees and meals, upon condition that the school must be given notice twelve full weeks before the beginning of Term 1 (new student)/ eight full weeks before the beginning of Term 1 (current student) and four full weeks before the beginning of Term 2 and Term 3. The number of weeks is counted by the school calendar, not attendance days.

  • Force Majeure

– In the event of force majeure resulting in the closure of the school, or other adverse circumstances that the school could not reasonably be expected to predict or control, no fees will be refunded/credited.

  • The school will not refund/credit or waive school fees for the student’s absence from the school due to sickness and injury, medical and dental appointments, vacation, family reasons, other reasons except where the Headteacher considers there to be exceptional cause or legal obligation to make an exception, short-term school closure arising from events outside the control of the school, Force Majeure.

For circumstances of sickness and injury closure, the school will endeavour to provide ongoing educational support through its online resources where appropriate.
